Director's Letters and News

2024-2025

Dear Parents:

We are excited for continuing our preschool adventures in 2024-2025!

THE PRESCHOOL HOURS ARE 7:30 AM TO 5:00 PM.

Here are the teachers for this school year:

KinderPrep-2 – Ms. Sherrilynne

KinderPrep-1 – Ms. Lori

PreK-2 – Ms. Michelle

PreK-1 – Ms. Julianna and Ms. Lauren

Little Explorers – Ms. Liz and Ms. Sarah

Here are some guidelines for the new school year:

*Children will be in uniform from September through June.  Polo shirts are red, white or navy blue.  Bottoms (pants, shorts, jumpers, skirts) are navy blue or khaki.  You may purchase uniforms at the store of your choice.  Children should be in close-toed shoes.  Please label all items.

*Children will need an extra set of clothes to be left at preschool.  Parents of children in diapers/pull-ups will bring them for their child.  Wipes and cream (if desired) will also be replenished by the parents.  All items should be labeled with your child’s name.

*Please provide your child 2 daily snacks – one for mid-morning and one for in the afternoon.  Snack choices should be healthy and able to be consumed within 10 minutes.  You may send snacks daily; or you may send an assortment of snacks for your child’s snack bin, and they will be allowed to select a snack.  Parents will provide their child with a daily lunch that includes a drink.  We will continue with hot lunches on Thursday and Fridays.  We will offer Pasta on Thursdays and Pizza on Fridays for an additional fee.  Children will also need a labeled daily water bottle.

*Tuition is due each month.  The new tuition rates were posted in April.  We have an online tuition payment system.  All tuition payments will be completed through the FACTS tuition system.

*Each child has a folder, located on their class rolling cart, for important paperwork, newsletters, art projects, etc.  Please check this folder daily.

*Please have your child to preschool by 9:00 am so they may benefit from the curriculum that is planned.  Children that arrive late to preschool can miss important developmental activities.  Children are to be picked up by 5:00 pm, or a late fee will be assessed.

*Drop-offs in the morning are at the front door until approximately 8:30 am and then through the side gate, adjacent to the Shark Tank.  Parents are asked to wear a mask at drop-off and pick-up at the front door.  A mask is not necessary for outdoor drop-offs and pickups.

*Per licensing requirements, children must be signed in and out daily, using a full signature, by an adult.  All sign ins and sign outs will be done through the Brightwheel kiosk or app.  Parents are not allowed into the school at this time.  At drop-off, we will take your child’s temperature and then escort them to their class.

*Pick-ups at lunch will be handled through the front door.  Children who stay the full day will be picked up through the side gate, adjacent to the Shark Tank.  We ask for your patience as only two families can enter through the gate at a time.  The Brightwheel kiosk will be available to sign your child in and out.  Your child’s belongings will be brought out on their class cart.

*Nap items are to include a crib-size sheet, small blanket, and soft cuddle toy.  Due to storage space limits, pillows or large sleeping items cannot be accommodated.

*Please refrain from sending any toys to preschool as they tend to get lost or broken.  The preschool provides age-appropriate toys for each classroom.

*The following extra-curriculars will be offered this school year.  There is an extra fee for participating in any of these programs:

Monday:          Kinder Dance

Tuesday:         Religion*

Wednesday:    Amazing Athletes

Thursday:        Soccer Shots

Friday:             ---

*We will offer an optional religious education class, Faith, Fun and Friends for our preschoolers.  There is no additional charge for this activity.

We are looking forward to a wonderful year!

Blessings, Rebecca Godina
